For those with carbon fiber hoods

personally , i’d say stay away from crap-bay. if you do get one there and it fits like poop, guess what? you’re stuck with it, unless you want to pay another outrageous shipping fee to send it back. are there any reputable shops in your area?? i’d try that route first. you never know what you’re going to recieve online…
i have one of the first gen CF hoods from fiber images. fits like a champ. i had purchased a CF hatch from VIS a few years ago, and it was the worst fitting POS i had ever bought. of course i call them, and they’re like, oh no we havent heard of any fitment problems…oh thats weird…i could have sent it back to them, but i would have had to pay for shipping, another $150++…not gonna happen.
i cannot vouch for thier hood fitment, as i havnt seen one personally (on a DA). i have seen lots of companies carbon products that just do not fit the car whatsoever. perhaps i am too hard to please…
my best guess is that its pretty much a crap-shoot these days…try to find one locally and fit it to the car first.

I used some 3m adhesive to attach the wiper jets to the under side of my cf vis hood and it was good until i sold my da a year and a half later.

i jus got a no name cf hood. well atleast the owner didnt know what it was. his DA was in a flood so he was parting out. bought it for like $150. Its beat up here n there but no cracks. gotta sand and re-clear and she’ll be good to go!
