yeah the 1 mil is coming from businesses, donations, etc along with tax payer money. I would be bitter if it was 100% taxpayer money, since we just passed prop 30 here to increase sales tax a smidge to fund public schools, all the while LAPD is sitting on stacks of cash.
Reading about his dismissal, it seems the LAPD couldn’t PROVE that he was lying/making a false report, nor could they DISPROVE it. What kind of organization punishes someone for allegations that cant be proven or disproven??
Well based on all I’ve heard, it seems that discrimination played a part in it. Wouldn’t be the first time for lapd

yea I read his manifesto… he seems to have well documented and detailed his case… Not actions you would normally see from a random nutjob digruntled for being canned… Not taking the guy’s side, but I can certainly understand his points about having his name ruined by a good ol boy regime, and all. from all outward appearances seems he was a straightforward and honorable guy who got fucked. Happens all the time, but when it happens and impacts a military career, and smuts up your name as far as future employment options etc… it is easy to see why he lost it.

Anyways, in reading the article there was mention of a stolen car also so I am not sure if he’s still holed up or made a quick escape in the stolen car and is on the lam again… Seems border between US & Mexico is severely backed up right now too cause they are still clueless.

Sheriffs deny intentionally burning down the building but it’s an obvious lie. There are youtube videos of police scanners saying “proceed with burn plan” “burners deployed we have a fire”. Not to mention they were allegedly recorded yelling in the background on live news saying “Burn that motherf*cking cabin down” or something to that extent.
They mention “fire” so nonchalantly that it sounds like it was the intended effect.
they switched to “incendiary type” smoke grenades and threw them into a wooden house and didnt intend to burn it down? NO WAY. Is it me or is this completely retarded or do they take us as fools? It’s like saying a person didnt intend to start a brush fire by throwing a lit cigarette into dry grass. Sure, it generates more heat than an unlit cigarette, but it was never my intention to start that fire.
