found new key fob but dont know if I can use it

Greetings fellow g2 owners

My doors have the accuators in them bcuz i can feel them when i unlock the door & when I do both doors will unlock.
I want to use this key fob thats oem honda for the gen 2 integra but do you have to have the alarm on it to work? I want to use it just to lock/unlock the doors without alarm. Any help ?

The fob interfaces directly with the alarm brain. Without the brain, the keyfob won’t do anything.

I wasn’t sure so I had to ask, alarms are not in my resume’ however I did find a whole unit on ebay that I’m debating on whether or not to try & install

do you have the oem alarm brain?
