These are the tools your gonna need.
10mm & 23mm ratchets, screw driver, box cutter, rtv, and of course your Roo cup slushie!
This is my integra ill be working on today.
this is where you will find a plug that will fit the hole left by removing the wiper motor.
This is the plug after you clean it up with some dish soap and a rag.
Open the hatch and remove all the clips and push the cover forward.
This is what your left with.
Undo this nut and pull off the cover.
Take your 23 mm ratchet and remove this bolt and take the washer off.
This is what your left with.
Remove 3 10mm bolts to remove the wiper motor.
Cut out the old bushing, and clean area around the hole to allow the rtv to seat properly.
Coat the plug with rtv and push into place, this is what your left with! :ohyeah:
I also coated the bottom side of the glass with rtv just to be safe. After that allow to dry a bit and re-install wiper motor cover and your done! Enjoy!
Genius. Did you end up getting a new plug for your firewall?
No there is no ill effect of not having that plug, but just cause I can ill probably get a new plug next time I go to pull a part. Which just so happens to be today!
You can also use the sinks faucet delete plug, home depo has a cheap plastic one and pricey metal one. Fits the same, I’m rocking one.
