Friends dont let friends buy cheap Dayco radiator hoses.
Do yourself a favor, spend an extra $2 and get the Gates.
Gates are nice and reinforced, They dont swell to bad under pressure like the cheap ones do.

OEM hoses are very cheap as well. Around $40 not including shipping for upper and lower hoses.
You may want to re-familiarize yourself with the forum usage / FAQ
USE APPROPRIATE SUBJECTS
Your subject should be a broad description of what your problem/question/topic is. For example, don’t post a thread with just “HELP” or “QUICK QUESTION” in the subject. Doing this will be regarded as pure laziness and the thread will be promptly deleted. Using appropriate subjects helps the search engine function better!. Also, do NOT use a different subject than what your thread is about, just to get attention. It will also be deleted.
$40 for OEM upper and lower hoses sound kind of expensive to me.
My gates hoses cost $10 each.
As far as not being on subject with the forum, well this is a place for product reviews after all. How is this not related?
“Subject” in the rule that I quoted refers to the title of posts, not the content.
Gates is a OEM supplier!!!
I am impressed with these Gates hoses quality rubber the hoses dont swell too much under pressure like the Dayco hoses.
Stick with HONDA OEM, which is made by Yamashita for the radiator hoses and most of the hoses used for everything else.
what about Samco hoses ? is it worth it ?
I dont know about Samco but mainly what I look for is a good firm rubber that does not flex a whole lot.
Also Gates hoses have what looks like fiberglass threads as reinforcement. Most of the time when a hose fails is not usually because of the rubber but the reinforcement threads start to wear out.
