yo guys I need some help once again… so I finally got my car up and running and on the road again just to find out that the cheap ebay rear knock off camber kit is already f’ed up… I should have just waited and bought the right stuff the first time. Alright so my question is what brand should I shoot for… I’ve seen the blox(has any one had any problems with these?), there are the ingalls, skunk2, revo and some more. And what about the front… has skunk2 fixed the problem with the uca if not should I shoot for something like the revo uca or just get some adjustable upper ball joints… any help will be much appreciated:think:
For the rear you can use any DC integra camber kit. Even on sites where they have different things like 90-93, 94-01 the part numbers are the same regardless.
For the front check out the skunk2 thread. Towards the end there is great discussion about front kits.
In a nutshell from what I have gleaned listing to others opinions of them…
There is no perfect front kit, all of them have pros and cons.
People say the Revo is good but the ball joints wear out quickly.
The skunk2 is not designed for our cars and have shitty caster when all done.
Ingalls is OK (I have a knockoff on my car and it held).
SPC balljoints lasts a long time, but doesn’t solve all the issues. May be the best bet.
All of them will hit if you dump your car.
From what I gleaned, I think I will be going with SPC adjustable balljoints and ES bushings on the little things the A arm bolts to and call it good enough.
cool dude thanks for the information… I dont want to spend the money on something and end up wasting it. In regards that all rear integra camber kits are universal… which one are the best, which ones have bushing that last the longest? and for the record my car isn’t slammed right now… its setting on some gr’2 with no name coilovers till I save up to get some full coilovers… probably function forms
i have the SPC front balljoints and for the rear i use the skunk2 upper control arm. have had that setup for 3-4 years now with no problems.
ok cool dude thanks thats what I was for… when looking at the different rear camber kits, skunk2’s looked the most promising because it looks as if there is a piece on each side of the bushing housing that prevents the bushing from moving. I think I will go with them to be on the safe side… I was leaning toward the bloc because cause of the price factor but I will stay say(that is unless anyone has anything good to say about the bloc rear camber kit).
