fuel gauge lag?

Hey guys just wanted to know if anyone else has this issue.
What I mean by this is for an example.
I just filled up my gas tank…but my gauge stays at whereit was before filling the gas tank.
After driving the car for a while let’s say 30 miles, it will start going up to where it is supposed to go to which be be to full, or close to full.

And whenever I put gas from near empty or 1/4 and put gas without filling it up it lags it to go up, but will not pass half ways.

Fuel level sending unit probably going bad… think its integrated with the pump.

Hmmm alright then… I’m going to have to take a look at the pump… I’m thinking its with the pump too…I have an extra gauge piece I might try to replace see if it makes a difference too…thanks. If my pump is going out might as well upgrade .
