Your injector is clicking? Ive never heard of anything like that, any possibility that its the valves?
Lol. They click and they are supposed to click. The seal rings are supposed to help minimize the noise. So either your seals (I’m not talking about the o-ring) are bad and the fuel rail or manifold is helping to amplify that particular one or it is just being especially noisy.
92-93 injectors should have 10-13 Ohms of resistance between the two terminals when they are disconnected…
There are a ton of other things that can make noise in our engines, but you knew that.
Correct^^ all injectors make a clicking sound.
But it can also be that you need a valve adjustment.
i literally just did a valve adjustment about 3 months ago… and if i put the extension to the vc and put my ear to it(ghetto stehascope, lol). theres no noise. and if i put it to the fuel injectors all of them are silent except that one injector. is there anything i can do about it?
Sometimes injectors become sticky and they make a noticeable clicking, you can send your injectors for cleaning and servicing if you have the money. Our forum sponsor xenocron provides this service.

You can probably find a local shop to do this as well.
Do a fuel injector pressure drop test on your injectors .
If I were you, I would try to find someone parting out a car and get 4 of them for like $20 or whatever (although if it were 10 years ago, I would have just “found” a set in the junkyard…). Then swap one out with your noisy one. Then, if you want, you have a spare set that you can send off to be cleaned and calibrated and once they are in the car, you can sell the other 4 for $20 thus completing the circle of life.
I know a place local that cleans and callibrates for like 25 or 45 i think. But im short on money now thanks to a 67 in a 55 177$ ticket. Joy joy. I can get out of a 20 over but not a 12
Injectors are suppose to click when they open and close the pintle hits the base of the injector thats ur clicking noise and obviously if you clean them it will be louder…but if u notice it sounds odd it could be your valves tapping the piston everytime it reaches tdc…depends tho
I had my buddy look at it whos a mechanic and he told me everything sounded fine. Checked my timing and told me its running great for a car with 224xxx miles on it. Haha i love my honda
