Today I noticed that when taking corners (usually hard, but not always) the car bogs, it stays at the given RPM even at WOT. This usually happens for about 3 seconds then things are fine. Also, when approaching stop lights (usually in neutral), the car does the same thing, except usually dies. It starts up again almost like normal. When I blip the gas while bogging, it makes an airy noise, which tells me I have a fuel problem? I changed the fuel filter today, problem still persists.
Could this be a fuel pump about to quit? Any other idea’s?
If it matters I’m running a B16A, PR3 ecu, LS 5sp tranny…

Maybe a fuel pump, but could be the rubber line that fits at the top of the fuel pump cracked or splitting, or just poor fuel pressure. Just an opinion.
What makes me think pump is when going straight, everything is fine (except when coming to a light), when when the car experiences any kind of G’s, I have my problem
I replaced my fuel pump and it still does the same thing as you described. Does anyone else have an idea of what it could be. I have looked at just about everything including replacing the MFR. I am not trying to jack your thread.
