I have a boosted gsr and i jus dynod 350 and the only thing holdn me back is that damn pump.i have been lazy.anyways how long does is take to do one
I just dropped mine, and it’s a bitch. I hate fucking with fuel, it sucks ass. It’s not a pain to drop it, but it’s a pain to get it back up if you’re doing it by yourself. One on my fuel lines busted open, so I think I’m goign to replace it with SS lines…
Pretty easy and straight forward. I did mine by myself in less than an hour. Just make sure to drain the gas before you take it out. It will make a hell of a difference. HTH, good luck.
thanx thats pretty much what i thought and wat i heard.
do you have to drop the tank? or can you just take out the back seat and do it?
Yes, you will have to drop that tank. You will still have to remove the bottom part of the back seat as you have to unplug two harnesses.
I know this is very ghetto and what not but it will work. I have a friend that had his DA crashed (got rear ended). Well he had an after market fuel pump in the car and he wanted to take it out but could not get the gas tank out since the whole rear of the car was crushed in. What I did was take a grinder and cut out the sheet metal to gain access to the fuel pump. This will work on another car if you don’t mind cuting up the sheet metal.
BTW: IF you do this make sure there is no gas in the tank one spark and its game over.
damn that sucks ,I didnt know the tank had to be dropped.Ill be holding off on installing my pump then lol
you got 350 whp on a stock fuel pump? thats impressive
yea with 880 injectors and the regulater set at 55psi.if i knew how to upload pics of it i would.
well hell wish i wouldnt have wasted $100 on a walbro 255 if i knew i could get 300 to the wheels with a stock pump lol
lol.but its better to have it though just in case u want more power.which u will lol.
