hey guys, I’m getting a strong fuel smel after runing hard for a short time or in the morning… any ideas? My fuel consumption has gone bad as well!
I have the same problem, however I also have a small pin size hole in my gas tank, which is enough to make my tank lose lots of gas, especially the way I drive standard 
well, sounds like something for ur average gum to fix!! 
In my case the smell is more or less that of incomplete burning (or runing maybe rich) though I have changed spark plugs recently. Oh, and it is not my O2 sensor…
same problem here! I’m thinking fuel pressure or something related… maybe leaking injector?
is it only after a W.O.T. run and in the mornin? when a car is cold it runs rich( still in open loop) and after a good run it will give off a rich smell also . when our car gets past 85% throttle it goes back into open loop dumping fuel b/c the demand is their.
Well, I would have assumed so hadn’t I suddenly noticed it! I mean it wasn’t there before and one day I just came out of the car and the smell was there! so I assumed something is gone wrong.
try to turn on the car, and watch underneath it to see if gas is dripping. have someone hit the gas a couple times. basically just let it run to see where the fuel is leaking from. if it is leaking. if no leaks, check inside the engine. sometimes it leaks onto hot metal such as intake manifold (from FPR etc) and doesn’t drip down under the car, just evaporates. then if that’s all bad, check your timing to see if it’s just running too rich. that’s all I can think of right now…
I’ll check for leaks like u said and then later I"m going to check its timing, I feel it is not right…
