hey guys i bought a fullrace traction bar for my car and for some reason the front motor mount on the traction bar isnt lining up to my motor mount on the motor… the bolt hole on the traction bar is about a inch lower than the bolt hole on the front motor mount. im pretty sure they gave me the right traction bar because i think da’s are the only one that come with the extra support bar that bolts to one of the stock crossmember mounting holes and also everything else bolted up perfect except for the tranny mount not lining up. im using a new front motor mount i bought off ebay so im wondering if its a bad mount. and i also put a energy suspensions insert on the pass side tranny mount , could that of raised the tranny up a inch?
i have already welded up my own front mount. but iv noticed a vibration on the front end when the engine is under load especially going up a hill. so im wondering if maybe the mount on the traction bar was in the right spot and if maybe the front of the motor is sitting a inch too tall now and maybe making my axles vibrate? Before i put on the traction bar my front motor mount did bolt up fine with the stock crossmember in there. Sorry for the long post but if you guys have any ideas let me know. i still need to get a alignment done since the traction bar adjusts the caster and i notice i have bump steer so it might just be a alignment issue causing the vibration too.
