Fully Restored 92 GS VTEC

I am considering selling my 1992 GS. I have had it since 2002 and it has never seen winter since I have owned it. The body and suspension have been fully restored. The engine is an LS/VTEC built by myself with 82mm bore and many new parts including forged pistons and eagle rods. It has a B18B block and a B17 head and port matched manifold with bored throttle body. The transmission was also built my me. It is a cable case with 99 Civic Si gears and a Type R LSD. The ECU has been chipped with a program I built from the JDM P72 base. I have an AFR gauge to monitor the air/fuel condition and a Fields piggy back computer to make temporary changes when tuning. It has an Edelbrock header and available CAI. At the moment I am running the car as a daily driver in ECO mode so am using the stock intake and a semi stock exhaust with high flow cat. The engine has about 3000 kms and the transmission less than that. Its not even broken in yet so I feel it getting stronger each time out. It has a new set of tires but they are just standard profile Michelins on 15 inch aluminum wheels. I have lots of spare parts including a couple of ECUs. I also have almost new Skunk 2 adjustable upper control arms if you want to slam the car. Personally, I don’t like the ride as a daily driver. It has been appraised at $15k. I know that I would not get anywhere close to that. I have lots more pictures if anyone is interested. I could not let the car go until late summer when my new car arrives. I hate to let it go but I’ve had it for 12 years and now have a new project. Forgot to add my email: roger.obanion@sympatico.ca.

I think I’ll just keep the car. It doesn’t cost much to store in winter and the insurance is cheap. Maybe when I get some time I’ll take out the engine and tranny and sell them separately. I have enough parts to build a complete non VTEC B18 so maybe I’ll do that and put it in the car. Its a shame to use the current engine and tranny just as a daily driver. Its built for 8k+ RPM.

yeah man that is a nice car! +1 for keeping it up
