I recently purchased a set of projectors off this user in the F/S section (he had an e-bay auction for them) and well everything was going good till the goods showed up broken, incomplete and not even close to haveing stock integra hookups. I have made a list of sofar whats wrong with the lights, I say this user should get the boot from G2IC, e-bay and paypal for selling complete garbage!
The Low beam light housing is loose, appears to be broken.
There are missing rear rubber caps in the actual light housing on the Right Front headlight, These are required to seal off the bulbs so no moisture gets in contact with the bulbs.
There is a side clip broken on the left front light that is used to hold the side of the light in place.
2 glare guard shields were found broken and loose inside the lights when taken out of the shipping box.
The hookup for the lights themselves are not the same as stock 90-93 Acura Integra headlight wiring harness. I have had a few 90-93 integra owners see the hookup and they have said that its not correct and they appear to be H4/H4H style hook ups which is not factory stockon a 90-93 Integra.
Both of the lights lenses are scratched up badly and have blue paint residue on the bottom of them.
One headlight was missing High beam and low beam bulbs.
The extra packages of bulbs were found broken open in the box, unsure if they are usable or not since I cannot test them.
The side of the light where the marker light is is yellowed up, looks like a repair job that was done in the past.
Paypal is doing nothing toward this issue and well e-bay seems to be doing nothin as well I am pissed off 110% this user is a fraud!
Nope Paypal closed the case, nothing done thus far with e-bay, put the fraud complint in and well nothing from e-bay, any other ideas?
Another thing I found broken is the actual lock for one of the bulbs so now the bulb will not stay in the mount its to be in. Hmm wonder if he is a re-seller of garbage, would explain why the item is double boxed…
I dont know if they will do anything for you, because technically you recieved the item, so it wasnt fraud. Yes, the item may have been in horrible shape, but as far as paypal is concerned you payed for an item and recieved it. Not sure about ebay, I guess it will depend on what exactly the auction said, i.e. if it said things were in Perfect shape, or like brand new or something, then maybe they will take some action. Either way, good luck man!
Ebay will end up suspending his account. They have a section that investigates items that are not in the condition they are said to be in the ad. And hes right, its not fraud because he did send them to you. I would kinda like to here his side of this, does he know you posted about this transaction you had with him? Maybe youshould tell him the board thinks he’s an assclown as of now :attn:
hmmmmm this is interesting… http://g2ic.com/forums/showthread.php?t=77419 , If he does bother making contact back with you, dont let him bullshit you saying the seals were in the box or on the lamps, hes saying in the above thread he lost the seals (talking on a different subject before he sold them).
The guy is not responding to e-mails or to the e-bay reports. he knows why he sold them and those are the reasons, I dont know what to do anymore.
I think that these are a second set, he purchased them before, found out they were broken got another set, and sold these ones and took a picture of the set that he has in his car now… I dunno I am really ticked now.
He lives in Miami, adress 11431 SW 7 Terrance #304… Zip 33174
I have been looking and wishing I could find someone to pay him a visit, I am in Canada so I dont think I am going to FLA any time soon, I hate stupid little kids like him, taking advantage of others…
I just e-mailed him saying I posted up about the transaction… See if the kid responds.
I put in the fraud complaint on the user on sept. 27th. did not see anything ese under the buyers protection program otherthen that. So thats why I did the fraud complaint. Have not heard back from e-bay or the user for a while now.
If you used visa on paypal they should be able to help you. I had a problem with a guy on ebay once where he sent the wrong item and wouldn’t respond or refund my money nothing. SO I phoned up my visa company and they made me wait 60days to see if anything changed which it didn’t then they refunded my money and went after the guy.
Yeah most of the companies do what they can. Unfortunately when you purchase things from the other side of the country (or in some cases from a different country) its buyer beware.
The guy that wouldn’t refund me was located in the states and my visa company still refunded my money and went after him. Not sure what the outcome was but I got my money back anyway.
