that would be so great if I could get the dash from a 94+ teg to fit right in. I dont want to try and see tho. Maybe someone else knows who big of a hassle it is. I’m sure you would have to have new things like door panels and a few small things, but is it worth it and if so, what should I be warned about before hand??

i’ve never tried it before… but no, it won’t fit. I can’t say that with 100% certainty. But lets just say i’d be willing to bet a LOT of $$ on it. parts like that don’t just swap over. It could be done, but it’d take a lot of fabrication and alteration to tons of stuff on the inside of the car.
i’m a bit thrown as to why you want to put all this G3 stuff on a G2. I guess to each his own…but i mean if you want a G3 itr front end and now a G3 dash…it’d probably just be cheaper to sell the G2, buy a G3 and do the itr conversion. I’m pretty positive that would be cheaper than what it would cost to get that stuff to fit your G2. Plus, i’d doubt you’d be able to get the dash and front to fit as well on the G2 as on the G3, unless of course you’re willing to dump TONS of cash into these projects.
I’ve never heard of that being done before. But nothing is impossible if you put your money and mind to it. Probably isn’t worth the hassle and headaches it will cause tho. Our clusters use a speedo cable while the G3’s have an electronic speed sensor. Airbags, door panels are different… list goes on.
Do what I did and get a '98 4 door GSR for $1000 ![]()

That’s what I really want to do and I’ve tried that. The problem is, I can’t get anything out of this car. No one wants it. I have a full black widow body kit, z3 fenders, m3 mirrors. New guages, and exhaust, 17" rims, and a new custom piping from the cat to the exhaust.
It’s honestly the loudest 4cylinder I’ve heard. Well minus a few vtec prelude’s that I’ve heard roaring around. I would be willing to sell it for 2 grand and I could probably cover the rest for a new car, but no one will buy it!
I’ve tried eBay, cardomain, around my town, and even listed it on here before.

take the body kit, rims, fenders, exhaust…all that crap off of it and drive it to cali, i’ll buy it for $1000. then sell the rest of that stuff which you can probably get close to $1000 for depending on condition and what exactly the brands are. there ya go, you got your $2k for it.
