hey every body , i have allready search around and i dint find anything to help me out .
well on reallity wat i need its the rights side dual guage pod (passenger) , i have the one for the left side (driver) .
on the left side i have air/fuel and voltmeter .
on the right side i have the oil pressure and oil temperature , but my problem is the the pod the i have on the right is for the left so it angle up too much .
can i use the one from the g3 . u guys have any idea of wat can i do or use ???
I have a g3 one in my car and it doesnt fit exactly, the bottom of it is real thick and doesnt line up great, but it isnt terrible. put 6 screws in it and call it a day.
why on the passenger side ???
for me , i think it looks more organized and its out of the way , but , u can still see it with out any problem .
how about the one from 92-95 civics ???
Why do you have the important gauges on the passenger side where it’s harder to see, and the non important gauges right next to you.
You can make a custom dual gauge pod that fits in the tray on the top of the dash. Just the only concern is wiring being exposed or hidden by cutting into dash under it or something.
Someone recently built a single gauge pod for the top of the steering column cover.
I’m sure you can fit 3 gauges on the pillar. It would just take some custom work. Not too hard.
guys , i dont want to mean with u , but , my question was wich gauge pod i can use for the right side that it wont be on a upside angle .
and i have those two on the right side cause they easy to see , i got the megan gauges and they are really clear to see from far .
well…to answer your question, i think your the first person ive ever heard of wanting guages on the passengeer side, so i dont think your gonna find anyone who knows. Maybe im wrong but i think its time for a little game of trial and error. or mold your own.
Ok the only thing I can think of is if in jdm land they have some gauge pods for the driver side. You might want to hit up some of the jdm import parts places and talk to them. Probably your only hope. Otherwise like I said custom make one of your own. Not that hard to do. Just takes time and money for the materials.
well , i’m going to show u guys that they do have for the passenger side , n u are able to see it from the driver side .
if u seat on the passenger side and look to the driver side gauges u can see then real clear , it will be the same from the driver side , dont u think ???
i did found some but i’m on my job right now so i wont be able to link the page up so ya can look at it , i found some for the civic type r right hand side .
hopefully with a heat gun i be able to molde them down a lil b better .
I for one wasnt denying they made them. they obviously need to for RHD cars. to me it isnt practiacl to look that far to the left to look at gauges you can put closer in your field of vision.
the one you posted probably wont fit. if you buy it id take a heatgun to it and try to press it onto the pillar, maybe itll take the shape.
okay for the idiot who wants gauges on the wrong side of the car:
Theres a website that sells RHD gauge pods, real CF no garbage.
But they are for Right Hand Drive vehicles, in esscence they were designed for the DRIVER to see them.
In my old integra XSI, I used 92-94 Civic dual pillar - the tripple ones Im not so sure you can get for the right side. I dont recall them even listing a part number for the civics- just dual.
i dunno you could just get a regular pod (like a autometer one or something similiar). You know, the one that has its own pedestal, and just mount it to the column cover
