alright, i’m having some leaning out problems on my ls/vtec, and i think that upgrading to a vtec fuel pump should be the answer to my problems. however finding a g2 gsr fuel pump is about as likely as me getting the s15 silvia spec r aero that i dream about all the time. so i figure finding one from a g3 gsr wouldn’t be that hard, but will it bolt in? or require minor modification? or just not be feasible at all?
anyone? anyone at all? even good guesses are welcome at this point. emphasis on good

I have read about using a Type R fuel fump, I would be 95% sure you could use g3 fuel pump. I sure I read on this forum one day that a guy used a type r fuel pump on his ride.
Ask phil…(VietG) he has type R fuel pump…

Yes, you can make it work. I have a BBK 255lph pump for a G3 in my car. You will have to buy a new sump filter from Acura for your stock fuel pump, because you cannot use the G3 one (it angles up and does not lay flat in the fuel tank. Also, you will have to get the harness from BBK, or if you can find an harness laying around, you need a two prong. A plug that is a lot like what is in the bumper and corner lights, only side by side lenght ways. Like this – with the clamp on top. Next you will want to wrap the fuel pump in some sort of rubber insulation so that there is no metal to metal contact between it and the bracket. I used a 2" rubber coupling. Let me know if you have any other questions. I would take pictures for you, but there’s no way I’m dropping my fuel tank again ;). Your other option is to get the Endyn pump. It’s a modified Bosch fuel pump (shortened) so it fit’s inside our tanks. But they want like $300 for one. OUCH. Best of luck.
Call Jackson Racing…their fuel pumps for the upgrade kits are walborow 255’s And they are only 159 retail!!!

You should just get a venom performance fuel pump, for a g2 gsr, that is a vtec pump, and works great on my b16a set up.
