G3 GSR seat problem (DA9)

Ok,

I have g3 gsr leather seats in my car. (93 ls) Now the backs I sold because I didn’t want to butcher the car to get in.

The fronts were installed half assedly by the prior owner, he didn’t bolt down the one side that didn’t fit because he didn’t want to modifty it.

When I took it to get safetied when I bought the car (9months ago?) The guy said that wasn’t safe and he bolted it down as follows:

Pictures are all there. Ignore the 2 seatbelts…that isn’t even a concern atm.

The fact is that the bolt is done such that I cant “adjust it” and I am sitting on an angle.

Anyone got a better idea how to do this? Is there a way to modify these rails to fit the original hole? Or is there a way to make sure it sits level?

I cant really weld (cant really = not to good at all even though I have access to a arc welder)

i’m sure there is some way you can mount your G2 integra seat rail onto the GSR seats. i did it with del sol seats, i put G2 teg rails onto del sol seats… so they fit perfect.

How did you modify it?

The length of the inside rail is longer and it bolts down into the floor instead of on the angle like it should

So like cut the end off and drill through the metal to wear the old bolt went??

I am stuck ;/

Any suggestion as to HOW to modify it exactly would be greatly appreciated I am sick of leaning when I sit.
