I was wondering if its easy to put gsr leather seats from a newer teg into my 92 ls, I know the seat belts are different, but can the seats bolt on, and work with the stock seat belts? Thanks a lot for the help.
The DC seats will line up 3 out of the 4 bolts, and the auto. seatbelts will fit on the DC seats with little modification, 1 out of the 2 bolts though. Search for more info., its been covered.

did you install the seats yet. If my seats go bad, I would like to do this also.
I have GSR leathers in mine. Same type of seats shown in the above pic. However, every once and awhile either my driver side or the passenger side gets stuck about half way. You should becareful. I usually pull the belt out alittle before it goes back so I dont choke the crap out of myself. :bawl:
lol, this has happened to me once, freaked me out at first i thought my car was trying to kill me. its smart to give the belt some slack, once it starts to re-tract so that it wont choke the person.
Alright I just got some G3 leathers for my car, I can’t figure out for the life of me how to get them to fit. Which 3 bolts are supposed to line up? Does anyone have pictures of them that would really help me.

Also how the hell did you get the automatic seatbelt assembly to fit. I read that only 1 of them fits but it isn’t even close to fitting one for me.
i only had one bolt that i used to make the auto belt fit, the bolt was to large to fit throw the hole on the box thing so i took a dremel and shaved the hole just enough for the bolt to fit and bingo it fits! i also cut the housing on the belt box for it to have a nice fit (if you recline the seat forward it will pop the plastic housing off the belt box).

Maybe i’m not picturing it right but doesn’t it seem kinda iffy to only have 1 out of 2 bolts holding your seat belt on. i don’t know if i’d trust that. :hmm:
well i trust my work. i used the larger bolt that actually held it onto the seat, the other bolt was for positioning it at the right angle so you would be able to fit it correctly, so i just used the main bolt to bolt it up. i trust it.

I think you guys should just reupholstery your seats. I am probably going to do mine black leather but I want to get my car somewhat fast first.
I was thinking about reupholstery at first but the cost would be alot, and the DC seats were relatively cheap and look and feel great.
How do you get the rear seats to fit?
I still have the original DA rear seats in. If you plan on putting the DC rear seats in there will be a noticeable gap in between the cushions.
i think that the G2 seats are better… just my .02 tho
no doubt, but having no fabric on the entire side of the drivers seat is no good, so new seats were a must.
