hey all, i got a chance to get a roll cage for a 94+ integra… used, and cut out of the chassis… just wondering, but does anyone know if it would fit in good mounting points?

i dont know too much bout rollcages, but im guessing itd be pretty close if not fit perfect, in that case couldnt you alter it a little to fit.

i dunno how much roll cages cost but 75 sounds cheap. sell it to someone with a g3 if it doesnt fit… up the price though.
why do you want a rollcage, most tracks dont require them till your in the 11s or 12s
i wanna roll cage cause i want to start autox, and it’s good to have a stiff chassis… correct?
eh… get sway bars, c-pillar bar, tie bars, strut braces and new bushings and you’ll have a better effect than a roll cage. i never thought about a roll cage stiffening the chasis though… can someone else validate that?
strut bars dont compare to a rall cage or to a race roll bar. with a cage the car becomes very stiff and for 75 i say get it and see if if fits if it doesnt sell it to someone with a g3

I can disvalidiate that… 
A rollcage has thicker tubing, welded joints, and Much more effective mounting points (in terms of chassis stiffening). Strut bars and the like are like toothpicks compared to an actual rollcage.
However, this doesn’t sound like a rollcage. That’s really cheap even for a rollbar. A bolt-in cage costs several hundred, and a welded cage is a couple thousand. Are you sure this isn’t a rollbar (who makes it)?
A rollbar isn’t a bad investment for autocross or track days.
As for fitment, I guarantee that they aren’t exact. Find out the specs on it, and take some measurements on your car. If it doesn’t fit, then you’re not out a shit ton of money.

oh trust me… it’s a rollcage. a real one, full from the back of the hatch, to the front where the dash is…
reason it’s so cheap is that it’s just used… not majorly damaged, just cosmetic… scratches, nicks, etc…
the tubing is fat too… maybe 2.5 - 3 inches thick…
and yea… i know if i get it, and it wont fit… then i can sell it to a g3 owner… heheheh
Who makes the cage? It’s a bolt-in cage I assume?
Edit: it may not be legal for any SCCA/ NASA roadracing (I would find out what it was built for), but it should be A-OK for autocross and track weekends.
i dont know the make of it, it has plates welded to it with holes in it… but it was welded in, and cut out… it was made for a 94+ gsr… i dont know what would be the difference from the gen3 ls to gsr’s but that’s what the shop owner told me…

hey guys i found a sick deal on a moroso rollcage but its for integra 94-01 and civic 92-01 will it fit our da with some mods ??

The roll cage wont fit perfectly, and will require some sort of modification, hence why they aren’t made to fit civics, G3s and G2s. Sounds like more work than its worth. Id rather invest my money elsewhere unless you actually need it.
