Hey there, I am selling my 1992 DB2 in Aztec Green.
I have an offer on this car, and was wondering if y’all thought it was reasonable, or if anyone out there is interested.
177,xxx miles
One owner (my mom), bought it off the lot
Completely stock, except for replacement parts
New battery
Pretty new tires
Catalytic converter replaced last year
Same mechanic since purchased, has clean bill of health engine-wise.
Clutch was replaced at some point, not sure when.
Relay needs a bump sometimes in the summer if left in the sun to get it started.
AC does not work! only because theres a freon leak that is supposedly difficult to get to.
Ok, so there is some damage on this car. In 2012 I hydroplaned and hit a curb, causing damage to the axle, subframe, destroyed wheel/tire, not sure what else. It was straightened out and lots of parts replaced. Its mostly fine now, just pulls a little to the right, and sometimes makes a noise when turning right. Sorry I can’t be more specific!
In 2007, I slid into gravel on a highway on-ramp, bending the frame a bit on the driver’s side door. Had to replace the muffler/tail pipe. Its fine now, just takes a slight bit more effort to close the door. Hardly noticeable.
I think that’s about it, except for minor cosmetic stuff… A branch fell on the hood leaving a couple dents, a couple door dings, paint is peeling off mirrors and spoiler. I spilled some bleach coming home from the laundromat, leaving an ugly stain in the trunk. I’m maxed out on photos! Let me know if you want to see more and I can send them/add to later post.
So basically, a guy offered cash for the car, but it seems really low, considering how special this car is. (1500)
Anyone out there have a better offer? Any input is appreciated. Thanks :bowthank:
