Gas tank lid

Hello all,

This is going to sound inconsequential compared to the problems others have, but, every time I hit a bump or pot hole, my gas tank lid opens and I have to get out to close it.
Is there anything I can do, or should I just bye and install a lock on it to keep it closed.

Check the metal hook and bend it so that it catches. Thats what I did with mine. Be carefull u dont bend it too much though, they break easily.
