Gas.

Wanted to know if fueling Vpowered (91)gas is good for your DA?

ive been using 91 for along time but have no problems.

signs on my gage or fuel door says “Unleaded fuel only”

so whats up?

if your running a stock b18a run 87 or whatever the lowest octane you have at your gas station.your just wasting money and losing power running a higher octane when its not needed such as a high compression or turbo’d engine.

but no internal damage to the motor right?

only a couple cents to get the best type of gas.
and a big difference, never know who ull meet on the freeway!

Go on and keep “thinking” that when the CORRECT answer was given. And you have got to be kidding if you think running 91 octane is going to help you against people you’ll “meet” on the freeway.

The recommended octane in the owner’s manual (87) is what works best with your stock compression ratio.

i laughed when i saw the freeway thing :giggle:

stop using 91, you asked for advice and you got it more than once.

i wish I owned a gas company. I’d be making bank in areas with high ricer populations. Leaded gasoline was around when the OP was most likely still a sperm cell. I remember being able to get it as late as 1986 in NJ.
