Gauge Cluster and Heater Panel dont light up

The other day i noticed my cluster light, temp light, gas gauge, and heater panel dont light up as well as my cluster dimmer. My ash trey and glove box and interior lights work fine, all the buttons work when i push them in like my fog light, cruse control and defroster. I checked the fuse’s and they are all good. ???. im really stuck and dont know if maybe just the bulbs went out in the cluster or i need to replace it or it’s just a wire touching ground. I havent checked the cluster dimmer switch but i am today. Can anyone help plz?

The “Dash Lights Brightness Controller”, [cluster dimmer] is the first thing I would check,

Test for power on the red/black lead, if good unplug the switch and use a jumper wire to connect the red lead and black lead together, if dash lights work, [full brightness] replace the DLBC switch. 94

Thanks for the ino!! Do you mean connect the red wire and black wire that lead into the DLBC together and see if it lights back up? What do you mean a jumper wire? Like a circuit tester? Is it common for the Dash Lights Brightness Controller to go out?

Yes.

What do you mean a jumper wire?
Short piece of scrap wire to connect the red and black leads together.

When no dash lights work, it is almost always a blown fuse or the DLBC, it is also possible it is a wiring issue. 94

Thanks for the feed back. I hooked up the jumper wire and shazam! The dash lit back up. So im picking up a dimmer switch this weekend. Thank you for the help bro!!
