my car never showed any signs of bad tranny till tuesday and then it started to be hard to get it into gear. then today it got worse and when i drive normal you have to grind to get into third gear and 5th not much in second but a lil.
what could be the causes???
it kinda seems to me as if when i push the clutch in it doesnt seem like it does anything but the clutch is strong and i dont burn out!!
Are you fully pressing on the clutch pedal when shifting? Before assuming the worst, I would check and replace the transmission fluid. Although, it seems like the worst has happened, and you have blown your synchros…ie. time for a new tranny.

check the clutch cable for play or if its in spec. if it is maybe ur syncros are gone.
I don’t know if these trannys are the same as what i’m thinking, but it might be the plastic forks that move the synchros around. I had that problem with my Shadow. I was a 4 hour job for a $6 part.
