Got a new fender! I am good friends with Da9chik and her boyfriend Jeff. Jeff was kind enough to sell me the fender off a parts car he got for like $200. Thanks homie! Way better than the rusty one I had on before.

Primer is layed! Wet sand tomorrow and then the paint will go on. You may notice the car is taking longer than expected to get painted but it’s because I am in the learning process of auto body and doing all the work myself. I am a tire tech but when I have free time at the shop, I walk to the back and get work done, little by little. My boss has taught me what I know. I’m not the best, but I can be after a lot of practice and guidance. Here’s a shot of me throwing up the shaka next to the car after primer.
Sand in those primer spots… get it all clean and final-masked, then lay a sealer, and paint! So close but yet so far lol.

Nope. Gonna be a whole different color… Not much got done today. Just wet sanded some spots and got lazy. Thew the wheels on tho!
Spraying the roof first because it has flakes in it. If we sprayed the car and the roof at the same time, the flake would be flying all over the place. I chose to do the roof only.
Wheels look good. Can’t wait to see this done.
