I bought this product after dealing with some ice here in Florida and noticing how the wipers weren’t wiping the windshield too well, despite having RainX on there.
The product is a paste that is rubbed on the windshield with a sponge. After that, I wiped it off with a very wet cloth. I then reapplied the RainX. The difference in wiping performance is amazing and the windshield looks new. It seemed to remove very light scratches as well. I didn’t even use new wiper blades yet.
I definitely recommend this if you want the best performance out of the RainX or other windshield coatings. I paid $11 for it at AutoZone.
