I am trying to put my car back together before friday night.
Local test and Tune night is friday nights
The track is an 1/8 track.
I am really hoping to run atleast a 10.5
My goal is 9.9 I know But reach for the stars! lol
So I was just wondering If you guys have anyadvise for me.
And Do you guys think it’s possible for me to run a 10.5?
I’ll also be buying spring locks ( he kind you twist into the springs)

'cause 1/4 mile drag strips need about 3/4 mile shutdown area for the 150+ mph cars.
1/8 mile tracks need about 1/4 mile shutdown.
3/8 mile of straight, flat land is a lot easier to find than 1 mile when you’re building a local hick track in the south.
Well… I would HOPE you could pull a lowsy 10.5 in the 1/8 mile. So what… you will have an Intake, No cat and catback right? and it’s an RS. You ARE 5-speed right? If you are 5 speed and have those mods… you SHOULD be in the 9’s for the 1/8 mile.
Hell… I went to the track with only cut-off muffler and ran a 9.8 in the 1/8 mile on bald tires and slipping clutch. 150,000 Miles on it and Full weight. Finished the 1/4 in 15.4 @ 88Mph.
i will also be going to the strip for the first time this friday but its a 1/4mi what times would i b running with a gsr org b17a with 118000miles. mods are cai and cut off exhaust. o and its a 5spd.

Depends again on if you can drive. If you pull a Shitty 2.3 or 2.4 60’ time… expect mid to high 15’s. If you pull a 2.2 or even better a 2.1 60’… you Should see times of Low 15’s to MAYBE a high 14…like a 14.9.
