Damn! I got to ya too late! You said you wanted a comfortable ride w/o bottoming out. I was gonna tell you to get 88-91 EF Civic shocks. They fit w/ no mods & are 1 1/2 shorter in body height than the DA’s. This gives more travel w/ less rebound. Skinny of it- more drop w/ less risk of bottoming out.
The Illuminas should be good too. Give us a report on 'em.

For a soft lowered ride, I would have gone with stock DA springs on rear OEM spec EF shocks, and OEM spec DC front shocks with DC forks. This would have given soft compression and rebound, with no spring slop, with less ride height. If you needed more drop, you could have gone with upper pillow ball mounts, which moves the shock mount further upward.
IMO, Illuminas with H&R Race springs are for more SCCA of NASA competitions, not commuting.
Although, if you carry alot of heavy things in your sedan (i.e., people), then more sprung mass would cancel-out the roughness of the higher spring rate. But I would hate to subject someone to sitting in the backseat of a DA with 300 lbs. springs.
Are those tips stock on your exhaust, or did you get’em added? I’m lookin’ into the Borla “intercooled” tips, but those are alright too. (talkin bout the teg obviously.)
