Hey everyone, I am new to tegs… Had mine for about 3 weeks and got the mod bug. I am going to be installing all that on my 92 RS. Will this make a noticible gain in HP? I had some other stuff on my civic, Sold it for the Teg tho. Let me know guys, Thanks!! :manual:
well the shifter obviously wont give you any hp. But otherwise, if you put all of this on at once. You may slightly notice some gains. But i think more than anything, it will just make your car a bit more loud.

If you got the money, you can go turbo but if you want NA (naturally aspirated) you can build your head. Port it, put some cams in, TB, intake manifold, cam gears, ECU, and alot of of tuning. that should give some good power. hope this helps.

Civic Type R or Integra type R are good cams for your buck. just make sure you upgrade your valve springs and retainers if you get them. but of course there are other cams out there. Skunks, TODA, and i’ve been hearing a lot of positive things about BLOX cams. GOOD LUCK!
You forgot to mention that he needs a vtec head to use those cams…
Oh ya, thats right. LOL . I keep thinking you have a b16 or GSR head. Thanks red teggie. i believe crower makes non vetc cams. better yet, just do a B16 or GSR swap. they’e not that expensive.
My cousin has a complete GSR, but the rear end is smashed hard. I was gonna get his interior and motor and swap my stuff in his
you can take that GSR motor and drop it in yours. swapping is not that hard. then you can upgrade everything in that GSR motor if you got the money. Cams, intake manifold, etc…!!
Hey, i saw you lookign for coilovers. i got ground control coilovers mounted on KYB AGXs struts. If you’re interested let me know. the shocks are 4 months old. i got the receipt to prove it. Thanks.
If you plan on going turbo I would not recommend buying lots of NA parts. Header and CAI can’t be used with turbo, and some things such as cams and pitons are going to be very different for a high-power turbo motor vs. a high-power NA one. Just save your money and buy the turbo parts.

As far as turbo, I think I’ll just stick to a non turbo and run it like that…
