Do you guys think that is it better quality then a megan header? and i see them online and it says it fits only ls,rs, and gs but does it fit a gsr? i tryed searching but i didn’t find the answer i was looking for. thanks

its greddy, c’mon. “quality wise”, they own most other major aftermarket companies. megan is a good company though, they make decent parts at affordable prices. their parts are sometimes comparable (in performance aspects) to the big guns so to speak. though i’m not sure about longevity of megan. i dont have experience with either company’s header, but i dont know if one that was made for an LS wouldn’t fit on a GSR. i’m sure it would bolt to the head, but given that VTEC heads are taller than LS heads, i’m not sure that a header designed for a non-vtec would fit as “comfortably” as one made specifically for it. it might fit, i’m really not sure though. if it doesn’t fit, just get a header that was made for any car with a b-series vtec motor (gs-r, civic si perhaps) :shrug:
I’m sure they’re great. I have a Megan & other than wrappin the downpipe w/ header wrap to muffle the sound a bit, (personal preference) I’m pleased. The Megan has a coating on it that has to be THROUGHLY cleaned off if you wanna avoid “the blues” & keep it a nice, even bronze. The Greddy may be similar.
As far as quality overall, I have a Greddy SP2 exhaust & it’s great. Welds, finish, & all that stuff. Sounds nice too.

i tried the greddy header on my GS-R (b17a) and it fit. the flange was warped and had a bad exhaust leak. so i ended up sending it back. it also had a small hole around one of the welds on the back side of the flange. like it was welded all the way around. it bolts to the head and clears the oil pan and depending on what exhaust/cat combo it should bolt up there too.

I’ve got it and I’m quite pleased with it. You get what you pay for (usually). I had it on my LS and then swapped it over to the B16. Works perfectly.
so i should buy the 1 from a 99 civic si and that will bolt right on the the b17?
