after i cut out the plastic grill, i took pieces of mechanics wire about 4 inches long and bent them around until the looked like a 6. then i glued them around the opening with 5 minute epoxy. once the epoxy is set you just slide the mesh over the wires, and bend the wire back to hold it in place. i did it this way because i didn’t want any zip ties or anything showing.
