and no, i’m not talking about your bbq, or yo mouf, lol. just want to see how others have customized their grill openings in their factory front bumpers.
here’s a couple (really bad) pics of mine. i cut out the plastic bars, and then cut the bottom of the opening even with the top (there’s a seam that it a perfect guide line for this) i also decided to put mesh in the bumper lens openings since some jackass stole my lenses (who the hell does that???) and in the vent holes in the lower part of the bumper since it was missing one of them when i got the car. this spring the car is getting new OEM fenders and will be resprayed John Deere Blitz Black. so let’s see some pics of what you guys have done!!!
integra_hot- yeah, i need to get new bumper lenses first, someone jacked mine. but they will get replaced
soontobe2ndGEN- the mesh in there now is some stuff that i got for free, so i just used it to get an idea of how it would look, but i will hopefully be getting some different mesh soon
sry i dont like meshed grills at all!!!, hears some advice though ditch the free grill stuff you got, and get some thing cleaner looking, and def get bumper lights back… and at least get that stock lip back on… just my opion though
I’m thinkin’ about cutting my bumper lights and putting them back in.
And that is my stock lip. It’s busted on the drivers side. I’m just waiting for my Type-R lip to come in. If I only knew passwordjdm was going outta business earlier, I would have got a Spoon Style lip.
hey u , the one with the first pic post , that shit son , looks completelly ugly , try to get a license plate frame , or a new license plate .
i’m not hating , its just my opinion
hammered- not sure, i didn’t even look at the teg tip, heh.
G2INVADOR- yeah, well i’m not exactly rich, so i can’t afford to dump all my money into my car to make it look like everyone else thinks it should look like. right now all i care about is getting the motor done.
hey wicked, bringing this post back from the dead was a bit of a long shot, but anyway…how did you attach your mesh to your bumper? in the teg tip, cable ties are used but they’re kinda visible. i had to cut out my entire grill as it got damaged, so i thought i’d do the mesh thing. info appreciated, thanks, saum. saumya_d@yahoo.com
