Grounding Problem?

I installed an S2000 antenna and I get static (like a whine) on AM when the car is running. But when it’s turned off it’s fine. Is this a grounding issue? If so I think I might know where the fault is. If not, what could it be?

likely a loose or corroded ground.

But who listens to AM anyways? :uhoh:

bingo. also realize the s2k mod doesnt yield as good reception as stock in the first place… but it does look good tho! =P
