GS-R leathers

I came across a pair of mint gs-r leathers for $200 I wanna buy them but before I do I wanna figure out how the whole seatbelt thing will work? or if they will even fit. I drive a 91 da, any info or anything is appreciated pics diy’s anything. thanks in advance

Did you mean Leather seats? If your 91 DA has automatic seat belts and the Leather seats belong to another DA with automatic seat belt system, then all you have to do is hook up the leather seats to your 91. “plug and play” no tweaking involved.

I have a 91 GS and came with leather seats. I guess gs-r have them too. I’m sure you can swapped yours with no issues. Of course they need to be automatic seat belts.

naa the gsr leathers are of a dc not a da. that’s why I’m sayin how will the seatbelt work or if they will fit

if that’s the case then…

most likely u’re gonna have to swap the rails…only 3 out of the 4 bolts will bolt up if you dont swap the rail(unsafe) and ur automatic seat belt won’t mount up(very unsafe). so in order to make everything work, u’re gonna have to swap over the seat rails using ur existing rails. might have to do some welding, unless you just chisel out the old welding and re-secure the new rails with a short nut, and bolt.

try looking at this DIY, it’s for installing del sol seats, but it’s pretty much the same concept…almost. it helps gives u an idea

eh in my opinion its not worth it when you could just buy race buckets for an extra $50 with rails you just have to be patient and look…
Or like a fellow member told me, look up db8 leather seats and swap the skins onto your Da seats and presto you have leather seats…and you can find db8 seats for $35 or less in the local salvage/wrecking yard.
