GSR spark plug wires on a LS motor

I have a chance to pick up a set of nology plug wires for cheap but there for a 94-01 GSR and i have a 90 LS and was wondering if they would work

i dont see why they wouldnt but just checking so that way i dont pick them up and mess up something when i install them

That thread is actually partially incorrect.

You CAN use vtec wires on a non vtec engine. The engine will run fine, the only problem is that the vtec wires are longer where they insert into the engine. This means that they will make a good connection with your spark plug however the top of the wire will not seal properly on the valve cover - thus water and debris could make its way in there.

After I removed my b17a and reinstalled a b18a I used my vtec plug wires since my LS ones were long gone. I ran it like that for a few years w/o any problems, I just had to be careful whenever I washed the engine bay that I did not get water down in the plugs.

ok thanks colin ill prolly pick them up cause im eventually going to go with a vtec head so i can live with them not fitting for a little while
