GSR Turbo Build Lots of Fabrication!

I can make one, that is not the problem. I would need a sample car or intake manifold to make a fixture or jig from. My price would be from $350-$400 with a 7/8" fuel rail, and fuel lines. I am working on a way to keep the fast idle motor so you won’t have that surge idle you usally get with big intake manifolds.

Just OEM for now. My funds are running low trying to get this thing on the road!

looks like a great build so far!!! Awesome job with the welding, my dad does all his own custom fabrication and is in the process of building a whole new motor for his 3000gt which will spit out about 600 hp and everything he is using is going to be made by his own two hands. Its nice to see someone with the same kind of views for art and customization. Keep up the great work!!

Small update!

Got the rear sawy bar mounts fabricated and welded to fit ASR 24mm. Also made the subframe tie bar.

Looks very nice almost the way it should have been designed and built however why a pre bent bar? Is it a mount for a diffuser? A straight bar is so much stiffer, you have put another item in the wind and reduced your ground clearance significantly.

Shit man your name is Tommy? Haha We have pretty one off rad Integra’s!!! Looks amazing man i am near ready to put all my motor intake and all together this weekend i hope then wiring and i am done. How far till you are done or close?

Sorry guys, my name is not Tommy. I did it that way because that is the way I thought would function and look the best. As far as being stiff, it is Sch80 6061 aluminum pipe with solid billet CNC threaded inset weld ends and the bends were mandel bent. I do not think I lost much if any stiffness there. I do not think the wind is going to have a hard time getting around a round pipe any more than the flat styles that are out there. Ground clearance is not that big a deal for me because the car isn’t going to be a daily driver and it is only 3/4" lower than the bottom of the car. It will move up with and down with the suspension as well so no worries for me. I like the way it turned out.

everything looks good. i just don’t see why you didn’t make it straight to begin with. it wouldn’t be in the way of anything at all, so if I were doing the fabbing, I’d run a straight bar of the same material. Would provide a bit more stiffness. Still looks awesome, though.

I might get you to fab up something similar for me, if you’re able to. Of course, I’d pay for all the work. Same ASR based kit and everything. I would just demand a straight bar. I wouldn’t mind a support bar to use in the spare tire area where you have to drill to mount the subframe brace. ever considered that for your own setup? couldn’t hurt. Only drawback I can foresee by adding a bar to the spare tire area would be needing to run longer bolts to support the mounting brackets of said new bar. Easily attainable at any hardware store

Tell you what. how about I change it to a straight bar and sell you the rear setup with the blox adjustable sway bar links for just what i paid for the sawybar. I’m going to have to part out the car, some stuff came up that I have to take care of.
If anyone is interest in some of the parts you see let me know and I’ll give you a shipped price.
I really don’t wanna do this being this close but i got to! Damn!:bang::bang::bang::bang:

Although I am really interested in buying some of your stuff I have to ask, after all this hard work, why not throw your suspension back on and trailer it to your new place? Seems a shame to have all that craftsmanship go to waste ya know?
