Has anyone removed the plastic underneath the hatch and cut it off and also im thinking about removing the uneeded metal brackets for trunk support, would this be worth doing?.. and also if i cut the plastic would that cause the trunk not to be sealed and make water come in easier. the plastic screws are already busted so the plastic sheet just hang there unscrewed to the hatch so i thought about gutting it all, but it might not be worth it. post your thoughts on this.
what do you mean by “plastic underneath the hatch”? I’ve stripped my entire hatch, for painting purposes… It was just loud… I don’t reccomend it unless you’ve gutted your whole car anyway. The noise it brings, brings like no speed. Just my 2 cents.
