H&R Lowering springs

Anybody do the H&R Springs 1.8 in drop, if so let me see pics please

search its been covered…

did not find

then i guess there are no posts. you should jus go and buy it and show all g2icers what it looks like. thanks

Yes there is a post on this. Not much info nor pictures but there is one because I am lowered on H&R 1.8 inch. Know that if you arent the type that like to stay say like 2 finger gap left dont get it. I mean if you like to slam your ride get the sportline one (RED) version.

I have no picture yet. Too lazy but i’ll try to get some cell phone pictures up later on.

please get me some pics

I just took some pictures with a cell fone and its probably not going to be so clear. Took of few angles, but couldnt take it from side becoz my other car is in the way hehe.

Anyway I have the H&R 1.8 inch drop on Tokico Illuminas. I have the settings set on
2 for front and 3 rear and its cool. Max i ever try was 4 front with 3 or 4 rear feels stiff but its ok too. Remember to have your tire pressure psi to 30 at least. I have mines at 32psi and it also helps the ride feeling too.

Its roughly 2 finger gap so remember this it may look high though usually new springs should settle in i guess.

205/16/45 H&R-Tokico Iluminas 5 way/anti-sway bar rear/Complete poly bushing kit. All in all i love this setup…

Almost forgot that my bumpstop is only cut 3/4 of the whole piece. I know most time you should cut about half off so maybe if you want it lower you cut to half or a bit more then half i suppose. Again this is me and i like my ride this height plus i have an lower tire bar under the front so i need clearance.

I hope the pictures help give you an idea. These are the Eibach Prokit rated 1.8 inch drop the purple ones. If u want lower go sportsline 2.25 inch.

nice !!! i hear more than 1.8 the car will ride like crap, otherwise i would go teins 2" drop

Actually i had teins with tokico illuminas setup the very first time. Its very nice like stock feeling but its rated spring rate is lesser than stock. I cant really say how good the teins were because i had them in brand new with the tokicos for about a yr and my shocks died because i was driving on roads you would not imagine in San Franciso. I did kinda like the tein drop but sometimes once its settled in it looks lower. Teins with tokico 5 way is like stock but give smoother ride. Front 3 and Rear 2 when brand new was best setting.

not sure but i think stock rate is somewhere like
263lbs/160llbs

teins are

220-240lbs/120lbs so yea that makes sense too

My H&R are 363lbs/186lbs i think…ride is tad stiff on these shocks but hey what can i say i can use a lower setting and move up as the lower setting dies out…

Notice how my front oem lip has the tein sticker on it and its wearing down lol i never remove them so yea that should tell u i once had them on…

Here are some pics of H+R on illuminas.

stock pic:

after drop, and different wheels

on a hill, so the back is a little lower, but you get the idea.
