H&R Race springs help!!!

hey guys,

i just got some h&r race springs, and was wondering if i need 2 cut the rubber stoppers to install them properly… i dont have a camber kit… do i need a camber kit with this setup?? and i am running on stock shocks since i got no $$$ rite now

any help or suggestions would be appreciated

thanx

Have the same drop oh yea u gonna need a camber kit

You don’t need to cut the rubber stoppers.

And i would strongly suggest you get the following before doing the installation…

  1. springs
  2. new shocks
  3. camber kit.

You’re going to be taking apart your suspension anyway, so why not do everything at once, instead of installing springs, and later down the line, taking everything apart to install shocks…etc.

Drop your car right, ya know.

We cut the rubber stoppers when we installed my H&R Race’s… about halfway I think…

I agree, get a front camber kit & good shocks then do the washer trick for the rear wheels… I had a ton of negative camber without a kit on mine, and on stock shocks the car bounced over big bumps… surprisingly enough though the Race’s ride really nice… firmer, but in a more controlled way, not in a harsh way…

thanx for the replies guys,

but im still debatin wether 2 get a camber kit or not… since i got cheap tires anyways… and would there really be that bad of negative camber?

or should i just go trade my h&r race for the sports???
and bout shocks… would tokico blues do? or will i need better aftermarket shocks?
