H22 DA people

I got my 93 recently and decided to go with an turbo H22 set up. I was curious if anybody 1 on here has an H22 DA and what suggestions you have before I start and as am doing the build?thankz

Ya have fun. Its a very tight squeez. Need to lose almost everything. A/C power steering, ect. It mybe alot easyer if you use the b tranny with h22. Half rad. Be best you get a traction bar for the extra room.

Not hard at all. All you need to do is a tiny bit of cutting in the subframe (so small and it doesnt weakin it). Thats it. Except you need an alt only crank pulley. I chose to keep my stocker and cut the pwr steering of so I still have a harmonic balancer. Also get the ESP kit as I have used it and personally can assure you it works. I use my Teg as DD and its great. The mounts were also great quality.

I figured on losing AC and PS cause of clearance. I read up on the H2B adapters but I’m actually going to avoid using a B trans cause of the tight ratio’s. With what I’m hopeing to do power wise I’m planning on just useing the f22 trans in the LX’s. It has nice long gears and I found an aftermarket LSD for it. A big worry I had was with the turbo clearance on the front end. I thought of running a civic radiator to gimme a lil extra room for it, but then comes the worry of will it keep it cool enough?

how much $$ r u finding a decent h22 motor for? im looking to do something similar

They have long geared b trannys. I used the h22 tranny and was just more work. I would reall do the btranny if i was you

Truthfully, My h22a I got for 150 bux. it was already sleeved, never been used. it just needed to have the top milled a lil bit to get the deck even with the sleeves. around ohio h22 stuff is goin pretty cheap. I have an H22A4 bare block I’m tryin to sell for 150 an sum body told me that I’d be lucky to get 90. On the trans if it makes it that much easier than I might aswell do it, or at least try it
