I may be able to get an H23 from a '92 Prelude Si incredibly cheaply. Of course, a swap into a '92 Integra LS will be very difficult and expensive. How much would I expect to pay for this swap, and how would it affect the performance and handling of my car? I wasn’t planning on doing a swap any time soon, and I’m pretty sure I won’t bother with this, but I guess the thought interests me a little.
well it wont drop in u have to cut and reweld motor mounts plus b/c the engine is alot heavier you will have more understeer if im not correct! you would be better off selling it or just not buying in and gettin a b series motor unless u have the cash go for it!
HTH:)
Treat it as if you’re dropping an H22A motor into your Integra and go from there. Tranny, mounts, and other crap like shift cables are the same as an H22A. $$
That’s what I figured, probably not worth it. Maybe if it was a 190 hp H22, but a B16 would give me the same hp and whatnot as the H23.
