H3 hid foglights in onepieces

Here is a good writeup on changing headlights, [bulbs], it is for G3 but still applies…

I agree with the above^^^. 94
ok heres the shoddy photos i took with my phone. And also you can see my uneven dremeling and imperfect cuts. However, it works well, no leaks and you can’t see anything once its installed. If i was doing it again or a write up I definately would have slowed down and done a better job. I just got my flickr account and have never used it, so hopefully the links work out.

Here’s a close up of the shoddy notch I put on the thing haha. I did not cut deep enough to hit the foam around the lip of the cap.

here’s the notch in the housing

Here it is closed. It doesnt rub even though it looks like it does.

So if i was doing it again, id take more time, cut cleaner, maybe in a different spot exactly to make the connectors clear a bit easier behind the housing. Take into account I removed my reasonator box and hosing under the passenger headlight. My way works fine and is invisible when installed, but I’m sure it can be done nicer.
thanks alot…for the pics man definately helped me out

no problem glad to help

here i got another photohosting site…these should work better:

Here’s the nasty cut I put in my housing:

Here it is all closed up. Note I cut a little more than needed off the cap. Haha you can tell I didnt measure or take my time.

Heres the notch I put in the lid up close. Blurry and rough

And finally my crude cell phone photo of the H3’s HIDs on with the headlights off. Trust me they’re very yellow in person, especially next to my 4100K HID H4H’s.

i had to cut into my headlight… well dremel to run my hid fogs. totally useless just wanted some yellow light to be honest, im now looking into puttin a fog light projector inside my one pieces for my fogs.
