I remember a while ago there was a way of doing this with pictures and everything. Now i have checked teg tips and its not there :S. does anyone know where i might find this tip?

Well it worked like a charm… 1 problem though… they are not as bright as the H4H bulbs… I would asume because the h4 bulbs have a little shield in them.

on ur link there is a guy who makes an alternative suggestion to soldering, by bending something out???
the pics of this procedure don’t work and i cant quite picture wat he means :shrug:

about the bending of the tabs…
You basically just make the cuts along the tabs to the base and get rid of the excess. <like in the pic with the three tabs spread out> Then you just bend 'em all down from the base so that the bulb tip is pointing up and the tabs point down. You then just bend the original part of the tab outward. <so the you have an “L” shape to them>
