h4h plug to 9006 plug

well my cousin had some h.i.ds in his house for a while.he didnt use them cuz one of the bulbs didnt work.but the ballasts are made for the 9006 plug.is there a way i can change my h4h plug to 9006 plug so i can use the ballasts??i’ll just buy the h4h bulbs so they can fit in my one pieces.any help/suggestions.

do you still have the stock 9004 harness? meaning is the stock connector still a 9004 connector or did you cut that off and splice on the H4 connector?

you can use a male 9003 (h4) to female 9006 adapter

kind of pricey if you ask me considering you could make it yourself if you just get the correct sockets

or you can just go to an auto parts store and take off your H4 connector that you spliced onto your stock harness and replace it with a female 9006 connector

i rather make it myself.the thing is that the h4 has 3 wires and the 9006 plug has 2.hoow can i know where does each one go to??

thanks alot man.helped me very much.just one las t question.on the diagram the green wire isnt used then if i just put it for low beam right??

yup, just cap it off or tape it off.

okay.thanks alot.all i need to do is buy the plug n play cables that go from the ballast to the stock plug.thank very much ones again.ima start on this asap.will post pics when im done.:whew:
