Hankook Ventus HR2

whats everyones thought on these tires, been trying to pick up a new set for the meshies and i can get a set of these pretty cheap. What kind of tread life to they have?

any other decent cheap tires kinda on a budget for tires, so pretty much anything that is $250 and under for a set is good.

i have these on my teg with ls webs… they are very smooth and grip well in the wet, however the wear factor is on the down side… they seem to wear abit faster than the average tire… i guess thats the catch to the cheap price

dont get them. the bfg g-force sport’s are 10x better for both handling and traction. i’ve had them both in 195/50/15 installed on the same car.

i’ve always liked bridgestone potenzas.

we just got a set of potenza pole positions 185/65/15 for the 02 civic we have. Looks and drives pretty well. Unfortunately they dont come in our tire size cheap. We got the civic’s set for 68 a tire.

I know this thread is way old, but for those who are wondering about the ventus hr-II’s, I had them on my accord and they’re pretty good tires. I thought they had excellent grip for the price of the tire. The wear is not too bad, but if you don’t have a camber kit for your dropped ride then every tire is gonna wear fast. Definitely a good tire for the price.
