Hankook Ventus V2 Concept H437 Anyone??

So now that Autox season is over i need to invest in some new all seasons. I was looking at the Falken Ziex 912’s but i just came across these Hankooks and wanted to see if anyone had them and what they thought. Discounttiredirect.com has them for $72 a piece… which is killer. Check them out http://www.discounttiredirect.com/direct/findTireDetail.do?pc=12583&counter=2&ar=50&rd=15&sw=false&cs=195 (the reviews on the website are killer! This was one reason im showing interest, but i havent seen any other personal reviews)

Im not really concerned with ride quality toooooo much, as i currently have Kumho Ecsta AST (PURE GARBAGE, and good for absolutely nothing, weather, treadwear, or grip) My main concern is driving in the elements, and treadwear. Im lowered about 1.2 inches with GSR blades. Looking to get 195/50 size.

Anyone have any experience with these?

not much feed back on those but ive had great success with the kumho asx with a tread of 420…

I currently have em on my bbs’. Got em cuz the tread wear and for 290 mounted and balanced, cant beat that. Honestly, best decision as far as good daily drivable tires.

That’s what I thought… how is the treadwear on the Hankooks??

And I’ve considered the ASXs but the Hankooks are quite a bit le$$… and might last longer bases on the TW rating?

I can go 2 years with the the front set of asx tires without rotating them. And i have a 4 year old set in the back that still has 65% tread left. And I put around 10-15k miles a year on the car.
Im getting a full set next year around april since I feel like Ive held on to these for to long.
cons:
they dont really grip well if you end up locking your brakes.

If you dont care abour ride quality and you just want performance tires with good wear, BFGoodrich G-Force tires. and go with 205/50/r15 tire.

Ive actually been looking at the g-forces… but people have mixed reviews on them. I currently has Yokohama S-Drives on the front and Kumho Ecsta on the rear (Dont ask: it was a last ditch effort to get some front end traction at autox and i just so happen to have 2 S-drives haha)

Either way, the Kumhos were garbage and the s-drives are shot. Im beginning to look at next season and want a decent summer tire. Im debating on getting S-Drives all the way around or the G-Forces. Both are about the same price… i dunno!
