hey how is it going, im having problem with my car lately, we are getting closer to winter time where my car wont start it would just crank for a while and finally it start and i have neutral safety switch issue where it wouldnt crank at all also this car probably have million problems lol each of them does different reactions if i park on steep driveway OR supported by jack stands it wont start, and when its cold it would crank but wont start after a while and sightly bogging issue when im in school zone driving 25 mph in 3rd gear when it rains it bogging a little worse than than it did on a dry day in the school zone

my car is obd0 with 99 crv jdm b20b cleaned fitv, iacv, tb and intake manifold new cap rotor and wires new battery

thank you guys

Sounds like you may have a fuel pressure issue.

As welfare just suggested to me install a in line fuel pressure gauge & get a pressure reading. Could be your fuel pump is weak and getting ready to give out.

And these cars do have their own personalities (problems) but it is half the fun of owning one… at least f you are an avid tinkerer like I am it is.

ok yeah welfare suggested me to do that also no monies :frowning: ill grab them when i can and what do u mean a in line pressure gauge? is it hooked to a line or regulator?

To me it seem like more of electrical system issue but STILL both fuel and elcetrical system

why? because when did ground from battery to frame to tanny, alternator, intake manifold, throttlebody and distributor which helped alot with dimming light and bogging and low idle that i had during summer i want to get all of this solved for peace of mind i think the car will quit running during winter like my old mazda did it would run in the summer but not winter wtf its probably bad luck for me

but ill do the fuel pressure first that would help alot too because i m scared to keep it running lean on b20b

and it seem like it doesnt even have neutral switch the car used to be auto

and what is that for? its located bottom of tranny.

being an auto to manual conversion I would guess that they bypassed the neutral safety switch. I’d look into the bypass circuit if you can find it.

can’t quite see that picture clearly so not sure what that other thing is. where exactly is it located?

in line gauge as near as I can tell would mmaybe go near the filter end. Otherwise you are looking at a aftermarket regulator with a gauge on it.

bottom of tranny toward passenger wheel, traction bar hard to explain

took the pic from google and circled in yellow
and dont mind the hand lol

here give this a read it may help you understand your setup better if you read an article on how it is done.

would this regulator be accurate enough? had to cuz its from ebay lol

if i had to guess, i’d say that was your reverse light switch.
and yea, that regulator should be alright. probably not the best quality. but it should work

let me know how well that one works. if it checks out I may grab one also.

i will when it gets here and installed and today had to push start it ugh wtf wrong with it lol

sounds like just a bunch of little electrical & ground issues that are adding up to 1 big headache.

Stick with it bud it will get to where you like it eventually.

im doing a wire tuck from parts car to get rid of headache that i already got lol hope i wont make headache any bigger i think i should be ok doing that though
