HardLuck™ 93' RS build: UTAH

Got my brakes done front and rears…

New Calipers, New Rotors, New Ceramic pads and all new brake fluid. Also some fresh undercoat… Love working on my DA  Lol glad I had a garage cuz it started pouring rain half way through working on it…

Some people dislike the drilled and slotted rotors but I bought these from the same company I got the ones from my Civic and I never had any issues with them… So I got them also for my DA…

Looks good sir!

Thanks Bro!

Finished up my rear brakes and undercoat today cuz the Weather went to shit Sunday while doin the fronts…

B4 and After…

Next I’ll be doing the Suspension… Cant wait

Do you have to clean the surface before using the undercoat?

I used a wire brush and air to blow off all the dust and old undercoat. Then wiped it down with prep spray, let that all dry then sprayed the new undercoat…

If you’re gonna take the rear suspension apart. You may consider replacing your rear trailing arm bushings with polyurethane ones. Really improves the feel especially if the old ones are worn at all. Looking good man!!! You’re so lucky to find one so nice to build on.

Also i found my Suspension Techniques sway bar really works well to improve cornering.

Thanks for the advice DAydreamer. Yeah my rtab’s do need to be replaced they will be the next thing I’ll be doing while re-doing the suspension… You wouldn’t by chance have a link or website to purchase those from would ya?

Nice wheels, what kind of wheels are they? make and model

Konig Flatouts. 15x8 +25 4x100

Probably not gonna tint my windows so I wanted to get rid of the sun fade on my rear seats… Read online about this fabric paint and decided to try it out… IMO it worked Great! and was only $6 dollars! Here’s some pic’s

Before…

Before on the Left and After on the Right…

Vinyl & Fabric coating…

Does that stuff actually work well? Seems to me like if it got hot it would get all sticky

It was 97 here today and it still feels like fabric…

Ha it’s gets over 100 here. I might use this stuff to touch up my back seats some time

Yeah it was 102 the day I did my seats and its been in the higher 90’s since…

Looks great bud… Duplicolor make good products. Another good company is SEM.

Got my Coilovers today! After doing a lot of research and talking to my friend that owns his own performance shop we both decided to go with Megan Racing, One reason is he is a vendor so I got them at a great price and second is after researching them Megan’s have a lot less warranty issues and problems then the F&F type ones… Plus these have adjustable dampening…

Here’s a few pic’s of them, I added my friends shop logo on them (Not sure if thats allowed on this site? Sorry if its not, if so I’ll remove the photos)

My next purchase will be a set of gold Function7 LCA’s and then the ASR brace and sway-bar combo…

I thought you ordered the ASR and lca’s already?
Either way, I’m jealous… I’d love a new coilover kit.

I ordered the LCA’s then 2 days later they replied to me saying they were on back order… SMH! So now I’m just gonna wait and by it all at the same time…

Ahh, ok… for a second I thought I was going crazy.

Your teg is going to look awesome with those wheels and a nice stance.
