Yes, I’ve grasp the concept of the roof theoretically being part of the support, but I’m looking for someone who has actually performed the conversion and what steps were taken and is the car holding up.
two words against that conversion: structural rigidity.
you stated that already in your post.
integra da’s already face a rigidity problem with their hatch. so, doing a targa conversion on top of that is asking for serious problems.
like crashing and turning your da into a you-filled cookie.
if u want a targa top honda then go get an nsx or something.
that shouldn’t even be considered an option… cuz they are FUGLY!
